In recent times, the voluntary blood donation movement in the province has received regular attention and direction from Party committees, authorities, and voluntary blood donation movement steering committees at all levels; the support of mass organizations and especially the people.

Community awareness of HMTN has changed significantly, thanks to which the HMTN movement has developed extensively, attracting the participation of a large number of volunteers of all ages, genders and professions.

With the active contribution of volunteers, in the past 5 years (2018-2023), the province has had over 60,000 volunteers register to donate blood and have received over 50,000 units of blood (nearly 13,000 liters of blood). In the first 5 months of 2023 alone, the whole province received 4,800 units of blood, reaching 55% of the yearly plan. Those precious blood units have responded promptly to emergency and treatment of patients at hospitals in the province, and at the same time shared with central hospitals...

At the ceremony to honor the Silent Role Models for the sick, the outstanding volunteers shared their memories and journey to the blood donation movement; their skills in propagating, mobilizing and attracting family members, agencies, units and local people to actively participate in donating blood to save lives...

The enthusiasm and positivity of volunteers is an important basis for our province to strive to achieve 2% of the population participating in blood donation (receiving 20,000 units of blood/year) to ensure blood safety for medical units in the area.

On this occasion, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Comrade Do Viet Anh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to commend outstanding families and individuals in the voluntary blood donation movement; over 100 other outstanding volunteers were also commended and awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Movement Steering Committee.
