Cam Lam District (Khanh Hoa) was established in 2007, with a natural area of about 550km2 with one town and 13 communes. The population is estimated at more than 110,000 people.
The north of Cam Lam borders Nha Trang city, separated by the dangerous Cu Hin pass.
Cu Hin Pass has been invested by Khanh Hoa province with 4 lanes, and is also a place that attracts many tourists with its beauty of mountains on one side and the sea on the other.
Cam Lam District borders Cam Ranh City to the South. From the foot of Cu Hin Pass, to reach Cam Ranh Airport, people only need to travel 12km.
Cam Lam has more than 10km of coastline, mainly in Bai Dai area. This place is blessed with beautiful, gentle beaches, clear water, white and smooth sand, very favorable for forming beaches to attract tourists and resorts.
Therefore, in recent years, the coastal area in Cam Lam district has received investment from many businesses in resort real estate projects worth thousands of billions of VND.

Khanh Hoa province's planning for the 2021-2030 period has just been approved to build a bypass route from National Highway 1, in Suoi Tan commune, Cam Lam district to National Highway 1 in Cam Thinh Dong commune, Cam Ranh city, replacing the current route.
This is to ensure meeting local needs and creating space for new urban development in the process of establishing and approving the Cam Lam New Urban Master Plan.
