Hung Yen province strengthens cooperation with Chinese localities

During the visit and work in China, on March 24 and 25, the delegation of Hung Yen province led by comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, met with comrade Liu Jianchao, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and visited and worked with the leaders of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee.

At the meeting with Comrade Liu Jianchao, Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia congratulated the achievements that the Party, State and people of China have achieved in recent times; expressed his belief that under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core and under the guidance of Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, the Party, Government and people of China will certainly complete the set tasks and goals, comprehensively build a modern socialist power, and successfully achieve the second 100-year goal.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia emphasized that Vietnam and China are friendly neighbors, comprehensive strategic cooperative partners, and the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future has strategic significance, and both countries follow the socialist path led by the Communist Party.

Strengthening and developing friendly and cooperative relations with China is a top priority in Vietnam's foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization and diversification.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia also introduced some main features of the socio-economic development situation and achievements of Hung Yen province and affirmed that Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee wishes and is ready to closely coordinate with Chinese localities to effectively implement the important common perceptions reached by the senior leaders of the two Parties and two countries and the joint statements issued by the two sides.

Comrade Liu Jianchao highly appreciated the major milestones in the history of friendly relations between the two Parties and two countries, and expressed his joy at the strong development trend of bilateral relations in recent years, especially since the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries agreed to elevate the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and build a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance.

Comrade Liu Jianchao also highly appreciated the good achievements both sides have made in the fields of foreign politics, economic-trade cooperation, investment, culture, education, humanities exchange, strengthening the social foundation between the two countries, bringing bilateral cooperation to continue to develop more and more substantially, comprehensively, and in depth.

Welcoming the delegation of Hung Yen province to visit and work in China, comrade Liu Jianchao expressed his appreciation for the friendly neighborly relationship, the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between China and Vietnam, and the direction of developing relations according to high-level common perceptions.

The leader of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China affirmed his wish further strengthen cooperation between localities China and Hung Yen province and proposed key areas to promote in the coming time: enhancing sustainable trade exchanges; expanding cooperation in production capacity and deepening cultural and educational cooperation, thereby contributing to continuously consolidating and promoting the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries.

At the working session with the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia and comrade Du Quan, Deputy Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, hoped that the two localities would closely coordinate and effectively implement the important common perceptions reached by the senior leaders of the two Parties and two countries and the joint statements issued by both sides.

The two sides wish to promote cooperation in the fields of economics, trade and investment.

Hung Yen province welcomes and creates favorable conditions for Chinese enterprises, especially high-tech enterprises with real capacity and prestige from Beijing, to increase investment and business in Hung Yen; strengthen exchanges and experience sharing with Hung Yen, especially in the fields of science and technology application, innovation, digital transformation, high technology, processing and manufacturing industries; enhance experience sharing in regional development planning, urban management, transport system development, digital economy development, green economy, digital transformation, and transport system planning.
