Duong Thi Van was born on September 20, 1994 in Ha Nam. She has had a passion for football since she was a child.

When she was only 15 years old, Duong Thi Van was introduced to the Vietnam Coal and Minerals Club by Mr. Pham Hai Anh to satisfy her passion. With her talent and hard-working spirit, at the age of 18, Van had a starting position at the Vietnam Coal and Minerals Club.

In November 2013, Duong Thi Van was called up to the national team to prepare for the 27th Sea Games. In March 2014, Van was also called up to the national team to prepare for the Asian Women's Football Championship.

2019 was a brilliant year for the player born in 1994, she and her teammates of the Vietnamese women's team successfully defended the gold medal at the 30th SEA Games in the Philippines. Since this tournament, Duong Thi Van has become an indispensable factor in the Vietnamese women's team.

Currently, Duong Thi Van is playing as a midfielder for Vietnam Coal and Minerals Club and the Vietnam national women's team.
