Search for man missing at sea while squid fishing

On the morning of June 12, the leader of Vinh Hien Commune People's Committee (Phu Loc District, TT-Hue) confirmed that a man in the area was suspected of missing while squid fishing.

Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on June 10, Mr. NP (born in 1973, residing in Hien Hoa 1 village, Vinh Hien commune) rowed a boat to go squid fishing in the sea area near Tu Hien estuary, Vinh Hien commune.

By the morning of June 11, the family had not seen Mr. P. return. Unable to contact him by phone, the family reported to the local authorities.

According to Vinh Hien Commune Police, Mr. P. has dark skin, is 1.7m tall, and has a scar on his forehead. When he left, he was wearing a red short-sleeved shirt and black shorts.

Authorities found Mr. P's boat near Tu Hien estuary.

The leader of Vinh Hien Commune People's Committee said that the unit is sending forces to coordinate with Vinh Hien Border Guard Station and neighboring localities to organize the search for the victim.
