TikTok Launches 'Innovate and Preserve Heritage in the Digital World' Campaign

On March 28 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund and the Department of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups, the CDIT Institute of Information and Communications Technology, and the TikTok platform officially signed a cooperation agreement to preserve and promote the values ​​of Vietnam's cultural heritage on digital platforms.

Through the program, the parties will jointly implement activities to bring cultural heritage closer to the younger generation. TikTok will act as a bridge, encouraging users to create content about heritage, combining technology to bring traditional cultural values ​​to life.

The signing event opens up many opportunities for cooperation between the parties, focusing on initiatives such as: The hashtag challenge campaign #DiSanVietNam on TikTok, calling on the community to create content about the country's heritage. Experiencing heritage using virtual reality (VR) technology, helping users explore landmarks, museums and works of art through digital space. Organizing field trips with content creators to record and promote local heritage on the TikTok platform.

The event also included a panel discussion on "Technology, Youth and Heritage." Speakers discussed ways to bring heritage closer to young people, awaken their love for heritage, and exploit the potential of technology and digital platforms to connect young people with traditional culture.

The seminar also brought new perspectives and creative solutions to help spread heritage values ​​through online content, thereby building a young community passionate about culture, proactively participating in activities to preserve and promote the values ​​of Vietnamese heritage.

Also in the event program, heritage lovers can explore and admire the collection of Vietnamese Heritage paintings, which are excellent works preserving emotional moments and stories about the beauty and value of the country's cultural heritage; and admire with their own eyes treasures and rare items of cultural and historical value.

Within the framework of the program "Innovation and Heritage Preservation in the Digital World" in 2025, the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Preservation Support Fund and TikTok will launch the hashtag challenge campaign #DiSanVietNam, encouraging the participation of TikTok creators and the user community to create content related to the country's cultural heritage.

In particular, the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund and the TikTok platform will coordinate to organize field trips to localities with many unique cultural heritages, to record and create content about the heritage. Accompanying this journey are popular content creators on TikTok.

Through experiencing culture, cuisine, natural landscapes, tangible and intangible heritages, as well as listening to historical stories from places, they will contribute to strongly promoting Vietnamese heritage on digital platforms./.
