The Hanoi Department of Health has just announced the results of a survey measuring the satisfaction of people, inpatients, outpatients and medical staff of the capital's health sector in the first quarter of 2025.
Previously, the Hanoi Department of Health issued plans and documents directing units to conduct surveys and evaluate the satisfaction of people, inpatients, outpatients and medical staff of the Hanoi health sector in 2025.
The total number of survey ballots in the first quarter of 2025 was 47,544 ballots, the survey period was from December 10, 2024 to March 9, 2025. The results and assessments at public hospitals showed that the average satisfaction rate of patients was 95.99%; the average satisfaction rate of medical staff was 91.49%.
Among these, hospitals with high overall patient satisfaction index include: Chuong My District General Hospital (99.85%); Soc Son General Hospital (99.83%); Duc Giang General Hospital (99.49%); Dong Da General Hospital (99.3%), Hanoi Eye Hospital (98.82%)...
Some hospitals have lower indexes such as: Hoai Duc District General Hospital (82.05%); Nam Thang Long Hospital (82.5%); Dan Phuong District General Hospital (88.7%); Hanoi Children's Hospital (91.7%); Ha Dong Traditional Medicine Hospital (92.8%)...
In addition, the survey results and measurement of patient satisfaction also pointed out the problems in public hospitals, most of which are related to degraded infrastructure, not meeting the needs of patients, unclean toilets, etc.
Thach That District General Hospital was reported to have dirty and smelly restrooms; long wait times for blood draws and results in the outpatient examination area; medical staff sometimes get angry and irritable with patients; and moldy hospital rooms.
Me Linh District General Hospital is reported to lack toilets and no wifi for patients and their families.
Ba Vi District General Hospital reported that some toilets in the examination area are not really dry due to the large number of patients.

Also in the survey results, measuring people's satisfaction in the first quarter of 2025 by the capital's health sector, the average satisfaction rate of patients at non-public hospitals was 98.8%; the average satisfaction rate of medical staff was 97.72%. However, in the feedback of patients, there were many opinions that the area of some non-public medical examination and treatment facilities was still small, cramped, with few trees, and no place to park cars.
At medical centers, the average satisfaction rate of patients is 96.84%; the average satisfaction rate of medical staff is 90.03%. The shortcomings pointed out at medical centers are mostly related to the lack of adequate equipment, degraded infrastructure, and lack of specialist doctors in some places.../.
