This morning, March 20, Squadron 202, Coast Guard Region 2 Command coordinated with Trieu An Primary School, Trieu An Commune, Trieu Phong District to organize a "Vietnam Sea and Island Sovereignty Education Lesson" for the 2023-2024 school year.

This lesson was organized by Trieu An Primary School with a duration of 45 minutes, with officers and soldiers of Squadron 202 directly conveying the content about the position, role, and importance of Vietnam's seas and islands; the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State on the East Sea issue; the political security situation in the seas and islands; and the results of the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the seas and islands of our Party, State, and People.
“Education lesson on Vietnam’s sea and island sovereignty” aims to raise awareness among students about the potential and advantages of Vietnam’s sea and islands in developing the marine economy; foster love for the homeland and country; enhance the spirit of solidarity and sense of responsibility of the people, especially the staff, teachers and students in the cause of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the "Connecting from the Heart" Program and the "Giving to Children" Fund awarded 30 gifts worth 9 million VND and 1 scholarship worth 10 million VND along with many gifts of clothes and necessities to disadvantaged students of Trieu An Primary School.
