However, due to the very high density of leaf rollers in the spring crop, through inspection at the field of Vu Thang commune (Kien Xuong), the sprayed area was 3 days old, the density of small leaf rollers was from 15 - 30 individuals/m ² , eggs were 100/m ² ; the sprayed area did not meet technical standards, the density of worms was from 200 - 400 individuals/m ² ; in some areas that had not been sprayed, the density of worms was from 800 - 1,000 individuals/m ² .

The small leaf roller is forecast to develop on a large scale, with the risk of crop failure.
