Ms. Do Thi Thuy Ha, Vice Chairwoman of Nam Tu Liem District People's Committee, said that after reviewing, up to today the District People's Committee has received 520 applications from parents wishing to send their children to Tay Mo 3 Primary School and these wishes are all very legitimate.

According to Ms. Ha, the locality's task is to ensure the rights of students living in the area. The District People's Committee agreed that the immediate plan is to strive to accept the wishes of all parents for their children to study in public schools in Tay Mo ward.

Parents "surrounded" Tay Mo 3 Primary School on August 21 to submit applications for their children and request an explanation about the school's enrollment.

However, according to Ms. Ha, the authority to receive with the local government is stuck in the mechanism due to the number of students the Department of Education and Training issued according to regulations, the enrollment time has been completed. The parents' wishes are sent after the enrollment time.

Therefore, the district must propose and ask for opinions from the Department of Education and Training to supplement the quota and need time to review the school's facilities. The conditions of the facilities and the quantity and quality of teachers must be guaranteed. The District People's Committee will review and analyze each case through the petition, thereby assessing the area of ​​each residential group, and at the same time have time to ask for opinions from the management agencies.

It is expected that on August 27, the District People's Committee will be able to officially respond about the time to announce the results of the admission, in the spirit of trying its best to be able to receive the learning needs of children of people in the admission area.

Previously, the People's Committee of Nam Tu Liem District had a document reporting and explaining this matter. Accordingly, Tay Mo 3 Primary School is a public school and is for children in the ward. After separating grades 2, 3, 4, 5 and recruiting new grade 1, the total number of students is 30 classes with 1,111 students, exceeding the target compared to the regulations (30 classes with a maximum of 1,050 students).

All students (grades 2, 3, 4, 5) separated from Tay Mo Primary School and newly recruited (grade 1) are students in Tay Mo Ward according to the correct enrollment route (belonging to residential groups 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and buildings that have not yet established residential groups in Vinhomes Smart City urban area, Tay Mo Ward).

First grade students are recruited according to regulations, according to the assigned target with a registration quota of 400. However, due to the rapid population growth rate, the enrollment ended up exceeding 60 quotas (with a total of 460 first grade students divided into 13 classes). Those who do not submit their applications within the prescribed time are considered to have no need.

The District People's Committee also collects information and wishes to synthesize, classify subjects, count numbers, report to leaders and advise on solutions according to current regulations.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training said it has requested the Department of Education and Training of Nam Tu Liem District to advise district leaders to research and organize plans to ensure students' legitimate learning rights in accordance with regulations.

At the same time, strengthen information and propaganda to mobilize parents to clearly understand the regulations of the industry, and confidently prepare the best conditions for their children to enter the new school year 2024 - 2025.
