- On the afternoon of March 20, the working delegation of the Standing Committee of Lang Son City Party Committee led by Comrade Phung Quang Hoi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee , inspected the implementation of tasks in 2025 for the Party Cell of the Department of Education and Training (GD&DT) of Lang Son city.

According to the report, the City Department of Education and Training currently manages 41 schools and educational institutions at three levels, with 1,780 cadres, teachers, staff and over 24,400 students. The City Department of Education and Training currently has 11 party members.

The leader of the City Department of Education and Training reported on the implementation of the Party cell's tasks at the inspection session.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Party cell has always carried out inspection and supervision of Party discipline enforcement in accordance with regulations; the Party cell regularly and promptly grasps the thoughts and aspirations of Party members, strengthening internal solidarity and unity.

At the same time, the Party Cell of the City Department of Education and Training always pays attention to leading and directing cadres and party members to perform their professional tasks well, creating changes in management, school order and discipline, and innovating and improving the quality of teaching and learning in schools. Specifically, for preschool level, 100% of educational institutions have done well in nurturing, caring for and ensuring the safety of children according to the regulations of the Preschool Education Program. At the end of the first semester, at the primary level, the rate of students completing the subject or higher reached 98.8%; at the secondary level, over 98% of students were classified as achieving or higher.

During the inspection, members of the inspection team and the Party Cell of the City Department of Education and Training discussed and clarified difficulties and problems related to the work of supplementing teaching staff, investing in facilities for schools...; proposed solutions to remove them and effectively carry out assigned tasks in the coming time.

Speaking at the conclusion of the inspection, comrade Phung Quang Hoi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Lang Son City Party Committee acknowledged the efforts of the Party cell in leading and directing the implementation of assigned tasks, especially in directing the implementation of professional work.

He requested that in the coming time, the Party Cell of the Department of Education and Training should proactively follow the direction of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the direction documents of the higher-level Party Committees and the industry to lead and direct the implementation of political and ideological education work well; promptly disseminate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and the industry to cadres and party members; promote solidarity, democracy, sense of responsibility, and exemplary role of cadres and party members, especially the head of the Party Cell; continue to direct the strengthening of discipline, discipline and public ethics, ensuring strict implementation of regulations in management and operation. Regarding professional tasks, the Party Cell needs to promote its leadership role in organizing and effectively implementing assigned tasks, contributing to improving the quality of activities of the Department of Education and Training.

The Party cell also needs to do a good job of inspecting and supervising the implementation of the Party Charter, managing Party members, implementing resolutions and directives of superiors, resolutions of the Party cell, promptly detecting and preventing degradation in ideology, ethics and lifestyle; focusing on Party development, improving the quality of Party members, and training teachers to improve their professional qualifications, political theory, and technology, meeting the requirements of education and training in the new period.
