On the afternoon of November 14, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council met to approve the results of the examination of the contents submitted to the 17th Provincial People's Council session, term 2021 - 2026, to resolve urgent matters.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the conference.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee contributed comments to the reports at the conference.

At the meeting, representatives of the Legal Committee and the Provincial People's Council reported on the review of the proposal on the approval of the project to build and improve the operational efficiency of the Military Command and the militia forces of coastal communes to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation; the proposal on the promulgation of regulations on preferential land rent exemption for projects using land for production and business purposes in the investment incentive sector (investment incentive sectors and occupations) or in investment incentive areas in Thai Binh province according to the provisions of Point a, Clause 1, Article 157 of the Land Law that meet one of two conditions: the project is of the type, scale criteria, and socialization standards prescribed by the Prime Minister or a non-profit project.

Representatives of the Economic - Budget Committee, the Provincial People's Council reported on the examination of the submission on the promulgation of regulations on criteria for deciding to conduct bidding to select investors to implement investment projects using land to build urban areas and rural residential areas in Thai Binh province; submission on the approval of funding to support the cost of domestic waste treatment for a number of communes and towns in Quynh Phu district to provide domestic waste treatment services during the period from January 2022 to August 2024; submission on the promulgation of a support mechanism for the implementation of social housing construction investment projects in Thai Binh province; submission on the approval of the 1/2,000 scale construction zoning plan for the golf course in Quynh Phu district; submission on the approval of the 1/2,000 scale construction zoning plan for the pharmaceutical - biological industrial park in Quynh Phu district; Report on approval of the list of projects that must change land use purposes with rice growing areas according to planning in Thai Binh province.

Leaders of the Economic - Budget Committee, Provincial People's Council spoke at the conference.

Also at the meeting, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council reported on advisory work and service for the session.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized: These are important contents that require the Provincial People's Council to issue a resolution to create a basis for the Provincial People's Committee to direct the implementation to serve the socio-economic development of the province in the coming time.

Agreeing on the results of the examination of the reports, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments and branches to absorb the opinions of the delegates attending the meeting, and based on that, make necessary amendments to ensure strictness and compliance with the law, then submit them to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and approval. At the same time, he requested the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council to coordinate with relevant units to do a good job of preparing for the meeting.
