On April 11, a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province led by Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Council Dinh Thi Viet Huynh visited and wished a happy Chol Chnam Thmay at Kal Po Pruk Pagoda (Oc Eo town, Thoai Son district). Also accompanying them was Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of Thoai Son District People's Council Huynh Cong Truong.

Giving gifts to Khmer ethnic minorities in difficult circumstances in Oc Eo town

Upon arrival, Vice Chairwoman of the An Giang Provincial People's Council Dinh Thi Viet Huynh acknowledged and thanked the Venerable, monks, and pagoda management board for actively propagating and mobilizing Khmer ethnic minorities to well implement the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State, and participate in the local socio-economic development program. On the occasion of Chol Chnam Thmay, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, comrade Dinh Thi Viet Huynh wished the Venerable, monks, pagoda management board, and Khmer ethnic minorities good health, joy, and happiness.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thoai Son district presented 10 gifts to Khmer ethnic minorities in difficult circumstances in Oc Eo town, each worth 500,000 VND in cash.
