Kinhtedothi - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 99/QD-TTg promulgating the Plan to implement the An Giang Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
The main content of the Plan is to complete and synchronize the planning system; including organizing the review, establishment and adjustment of urban and rural planning, technical and specialized planning in An Giang province according to the provisions of specialized laws, ensuring consistency and synchronization with the approved Provincial Planning.

At the same time, implement programs, projects and proposals. Specifically, for public investment programs and projects : Prioritize capital allocation for implementation, accelerate progress, complete early and promote the effectiveness of important projects of the province. Prioritize resources to implement synchronous and modern infrastructure projects, create spillover effects, promote development linkages in 3 socio-economic regions associated with 3 economic corridors. In particular, continue to prioritize investment resources in breakthrough development sectors of the province, including: Transport infrastructure; industrial parks and clusters; border economic zones; logistics service infrastructure; high-tech agriculture; food processing industry; dynamic urban areas, high-quality trade and service infrastructure and tourism.
Continue to invest in developing irrigation infrastructure; reservoir systems; education, healthcare, information technology infrastructure; culture - society; prevention and overcoming of consequences of natural disasters, adaptation to climate change, ensuring national defense - security and National Target Programs.
Investment projects using capital sources other than public investment capital: Mobilizing and attracting resources, domestic and foreign investors, economic sectors with strong financial potential, using modern technology to invest in priority and breakthrough areas of the province; large projects of a linkage nature, creating momentum to promote growth, rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, ensuring the right development orientation, consistent with the needs and ability to balance and mobilize investment capital of each period, complying with current legal regulations.
