On the morning of February 25, at the national historical and cultural relic site of the A Sao Temple, Wharf, An Thai Commune, Quynh Phu District, the 2024 military enlistment ceremony was held. Attending the ceremony were: Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Colonel Tran Quoc Tien, Head of Logistics, Military Region 3; Hoang Thai Phuc, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Colonel Tran Van Phuc, member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department; leaders of a number of departments and branches.

In 2024, Quynh Phu district has 377 citizens performing military service, 42 citizens performing People's Public Security service; of which 89 new recruits voluntarily wrote applications to join the army. In order to successfully complete the selection and calling of young people to join the army, the District Military Command closely coordinated with departments, branches, and organizations to advise the District Military Service Council to properly implement the stages, steps, and procedures for selecting and calling citizens to join the army to ensure democracy, objectivity, fairness, and compliance with the law. 100% of new recruits met the requirements of political qualities, health, and education; of which over 70% of new recruits had health of type 1 and type 2, and 46 young people had graduated from university or college.

Speaking at the military enlistment ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, affirmed: Firmly defending the Fatherland is a strategic task of the entire Party, people and army, and is the sacred duty and noble right of every citizen. With the spirit of "not a pound of rice is missing, not a soldier is missing", in recent years, Thai Binh province in general and Quynh Phu district in particular have always been bright spots in the movement of selecting and calling citizens to join the army, reflected in the increasing number of military enlistments each year, and the increasingly high quality of new recruits with many students studying at universities and colleges.

The Deputy Minister of Public Security acknowledged and highly appreciated the attention of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Military Service Council and related units for doing a good job in selecting and encouraging new recruits to confidently set out to defend the Fatherland. He hoped that the new recruits would uphold the tradition of their heroic homeland, the glorious tradition of their predecessors, strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, constantly study and train to truly become Uncle Ho's soldiers, Vietnamese people's police officers, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland, serving the people, and excellently completing all assigned tasks. Mass organizations from the province to the district have well implemented the military rear policy, paying attention to and helping the families of new recruits so that the new recruits can confidently carry out their tasks.
