Khanh Hoa On his debut day with the mountain town team, goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung played well, his excellent reflexes helped HAGL draw 0-0 with Khanh Hoa in round 11 of V-League 2023-2024.

Bui Tien Dung often sits on the bench at Hanoi Police Club. Therefore, he was loaned to HAGL Club from round 11. After only one day of training with the new team, the goalkeeper from Thanh Hoa was already the main goalkeeper, in the context of goalkeeper Phan Dinh Vu Hai's injury.

Throughout the match, Bui Tien Dung entered and exited reasonably, his good footwork also helped him connect with his teammates.

" It's been a long time since I had the chance to play and keep a clean sheet, this is a perfect result, I'm very happy with this achievement", Bui Tien Dung shared. "But, it would be much better if HAGL won. I have played with many HAGL players at both the club and the national team. In addition, I have also worked with coach Vu Tien Thanh so I don't have any problems integrating. I want to win all the matches, or at least keep a clean sheet".

HAGL also tested Joao Henrique in this match, in the context of John Cley being suspended for three yellow cards. However, this rookie striker did not leave any significant mark and was replaced in the middle of the second half. Defender Huynh Tan Tai, who was just loaned from Hanoi Police, also entered the field in the middle of the second half, but played as a right midfielder and could not show his strengths.

Without Tuan Anh due to injury, coach Vu Tien Thanh had to use many young players, besides the mainstays Minh Vuong, Van Son, Dung Quang Nho, Chau Ngoc Quang.

However, the away team still started well, holding the ball and keeping a good rhythm. However, their ineffective finishing ability prevented them from breaking through Khanh Hoa's net. In the 8th minute, Minh Vuong took a free kick from outside the penalty area, the ball curved over the wall but hit the post. In the 45th minute, Vo Dinh Lam broke the offside trap and faced goalkeeper Hoai Anh but his shot went wide.

HAGL responded 10 minutes later, when Minh Vuong had a chance to face goalkeeper Hoai Anh but also hurriedly shot over the bar. In the 69th minute, the home team's clearest chance was created when Leazard passed into the penalty area for striker Guirassy to control and eliminate the HAGL defender but his shot from 5 meters away was blocked by goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung.

The 0-0 draw left HAGL still at the bottom of the V-League table with seven points. As for Khanh Hoa, unable to win in this "reverse final", they were also held back by their opponents in the second-to-last position with eight points.

Round 12, HAGL will visit Thanh Hoa, while Khanh Hoa will host Hanoi FC.
