On the morning of June 20, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced the 10th grade exam scores of more than 96,000 candidates.
The admission score for grade 10 this year is the total score of 3 subjects: Literature, Foreign Language, Math, with a coefficient of 1. According to this formula, Vu Ngoc Bich has a score of 9.25 in Literature, and 10 in Math and English. With this result, Bich is not only the valedictorian but also the candidate with the highest score in Literature in Ho Chi Minh City.

From the test score data, the highest score in Literature is 9.25 points, the lowest is 0 points with 7 essays. The total score from 5 and above is 84,590 essays, accounting for 87.8%.
The highest score in foreign language is 10 with 2,147 papers, the lowest is 0 with 8 papers. The total number of papers with a score of 5 or higher is 64,953 papers, accounting for 67%.
The highest score in math is 10 with 121 papers, the lowest is 0 with 165 papers. The number of papers with 5 or more papers is 51,826 papers, accounting for 53.79%. The total number of specialized papers with 10 papers is 3 papers.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, candidates admitted to schools and directly admitted will submit their admission applications from June 25 to before 4:00 p.m. on June 29. During this time, if candidates do not submit their admission applications, the school will remove their names from the admission list.
June 30th, the results of the exam review will be announced. Candidates who have passed the exam will submit their application for admission to specialized schools and integrated classes on July 5th after receiving the results of the review.
By July 10, the Department will announce the admission benchmark scores and the list of candidates admitted to regular grade 10 of public schools.
