Vietnam Expressway Corporation has developed a plan to organize traffic during the temporary operation of the first 3km and the last 6km of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway.
Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) has just released information on the traffic organization plan for the temporary operation phase of the section Km 0+000 - Km 3+420 (from Trung Luong Intersection to National Highway 1A Intersection) and the section Km 50+530 - Km 57+581 (from Phuoc An Intersection to National Highway 51 Intersection) of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway project.
A section of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway has been completed.
Accordingly, vehicles that fully meet the conditions for road traffic are allowed to travel on highways, except for the following subjects: Trucks over 10 tons; Specialized motorbikes with a design speed of less than 70km/h; Motorbikes, two-wheeled motorbikes; Tractors, three-wheeled motorbikes, motorbikes (including electric motorbikes) and similar vehicles; Self-propelled construction motorbikes, tracked vehicles (except for vehicles performing maintenance, inspection, and repair of highways, construction vehicles); Primitive vehicles, pedestrians; Animals.
For the section Km 0+000 - Km 3+420, the operating speed on the main line is 60km/h.
Within the intersection, the speed limit within the roundabout is 40km/h; the speed limit on the approach road and other branches is 50km/h.

At intersection No. 1 (at Km 0+700) - the intersection between the project and the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway, vehicles traveling on the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway (two-way) to intersection No. 1 turn down at the exits to enter the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway through a section of road (300m) with special traffic organization (connecting section), passing through the toll station to Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway to go to National Highway 1A.
Vehicles on the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway (from National Highway 1A - Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway) travel through a section of road (300m) with special traffic organization (connecting section) to enter the branches of the interchange to Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway to go to the Western provinces or to Ho Chi Minh City.
At intersection No. 2 (at Km 3+420) - the intersection between the project and National Highway 1, vehicles traveling on National Highway 1A from Nguyen Van Linh Street to Long An turn right to the intersection onto Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway to Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway.
Vehicles traveling on National Highway 1A from Long An to the intersection move around the roundabout, turn left and enter the branch to the expressway to Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway to Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway.
Vehicles traveling on the Ben Luc Long - Thanh Expressway (from Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway to National Highway 1A) turn right out of the expressway at the exit of the intersection, continue to turn left to enter National Highway 1A to Long An or enter the roundabout of the intersection to go to Nguyen Van Linh Street (Ho Chi Minh City) on National Highway 1A.

Vehicles traveling from Nhon Trach district to the intersection move along the roundabout, turn left to enter the branch to the expressway to Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway to National Highway 51.

Vehicles traveling on National Highway 51 (from Vung Tau to Bien Hoa) to intersection number 8, follow the roundabout, turn left onto the access road to enter Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway to Phuoc An Port, Nhon Trach District (Dong Nai) or to Ho Chi Minh City.
Vehicles traveling on the Ben - Luc Long Thanh expressway (from Phuoc An to National Highway 51) turn right off the expressway on the access road and continue to turn right onto National Highway 51 to go to Vung Tau or turn left into the roundabout to go to Bien Hoa (on National Highway 51).

Previously, the Vietnam Road Administration approved the traffic organization plan for the temporary operation phase of two sections of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway construction investment project.
The temporary traffic organization scope includes the first section of the route from Km0+000 - Km3+420, including the intersection at the starting point of the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway and the project's intersection with National Highway 1 in Long An. This section is about 3.4km long.
The final section of the route from Km 50+530 - Km 57+581 includes the project's intersections with BOT road 319 and the intersection at the end of the project with National Highway 51 in Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province. This section is about 6.1km long.
According to the Department of Roads, the temporary traffic organization plan aims to connect roads in the area, adjust and reduce traffic volume on operating routes in the area, contributing to ensuring order and safety of road traffic in the area during the Lunar New Year 2025 and ensuring traffic during the Spring Festival 2025.
