The American music superstar's support for the LGBTQ+ community comes after the Donald Trump administration issued an order to narrow LGBTQ+ rights.
Mr. Trump's executive order banning diversity, equity, and inclusion in government has led to recent removals of LGBTQ+ pages.
When accepting the award, Lady Gaga said: "It's an honor to be a singer-songwriter and a producer, to sing for all of you. And I just want to say tonight that trans people are not invisible. They deserve love. The LGBTQ+ community deserves support. Music is love. Thank you."

Speaking about her new album on the red carpet, singer Lady Gaga said: "I'm so excited, the new album is coming out on March 7. I love my fans so much, my little monsters (her nickname for fans). I worked so hard on this album, spent a lot of time in the studio, like honing all the sounds, writing every song and just creating something that I'm really proud of, ready to dance to."
