COP28 Agreement Closes the Fossil Fuel Era

(TN&MT) - On December 13, the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) ended nearly one day later than originally scheduled. Negotiators from nearly 200 countries adopted the final agreement of the Conference, agreeing to deeply cut greenhouse gas emissions and increase financial commitments for efforts to respond to climate change.
