(Dan Tri) - Despite the cold and rainy weather, people in the capital still "dress up and go out" to take photos in ao dai to welcome spring.
In the days leading up to Tet, on many streets of Hanoi, people flock to take photos wearing Ao Dai. They often combine modern accessories, creating a new, unique style with their own personality. Thanh Danh (Hanoi) and his friends pose in traditional Ao Dai. To show off their youthful and dynamic personalities, the group added modern accessories such as: shoes, glasses, necklaces... Not only young people but also women quickly caught up with the trend of taking photos in Tet ao dai. There are only about 3 weeks left until Tet, so everyone wants to take the most beautiful photos to welcome a happy and joyful new year. According to Nguyen Van Thuong (photographer), during the Giap Thin spring, the number of customers taking photos is 2-3 times higher than in previous years. "On the days before Tet, I often have to take 3 shifts from morning to afternoon. On average, a photo package costs from 1-1.5 million VND/person," said Thuong. Mr. Josh, an international visitor, was delighted to witness the trend of taking Tet photos on Ta Hien Street. "I was very impressed, seeing Vietnamese girls looking very beautiful and graceful in their national costumes. I also really wanted to try on the costumes and take photos like everyone else," said Mr. Josh. The ao dai costumes that many people choose are those with bright colors, showing the traditional features of the old Tet. Although the weather in Hanoi has turned cold, the temperature has dropped sharply and there is drizzle, the flow of people coming to the central streets to take photos is still very crowded.
