In 2025, Thai Nguyen University of Education will not conduct early admission based on the basic academic assessment method and will not organize aptitude tests for the field of Early Childhood Education.

Thai Nguyen University of Education - Thai Nguyen University announces the methods of regular university admission in 2025. Accordingly, the school enrolls students according to 5 methods, including:

- Method 1: Direct admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

- Method 4: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam combined with sports aptitude test.

- Method 5: Consider transferring students who have completed the university preparatory program.

The school notes that it will not consider early admission based on academic records as in previous years and will not organize an aptitude test for Preschool Education.

Before Thai Nguyen University of Education, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education was the first pedagogical school to announce that it would stop considering high school transcripts for admission from 2025. Specifically, the admission score to the school based on the high school graduation exam score and combined aptitude is from 23.95 to 28.6 points (depending on the major).

Of which, the highest score is History Education with 28.6 points. Next is Literature Education with 28.56 points. The lowest standard score is Preschool Education with 23.95 points.
