More than 9 billion VND to support people affected by storms and floods

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City received support from the Ho Chi Minh City Police Trade Union at the Launching Ceremony to support people affected by storm No. 3.

Since the storm No. 3, the Front and the Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee have received active support from agencies, organizations, units and individuals in Ho Chi Minh City. At the launching ceremony held on the afternoon of September 12 alone, 91 units and individuals registered to donate, with a total amount of more than 58 billion VND, of which the amount of goods converted into money was nearly 6.3 billion VND.
