New cast added for Get Rich with Ghosts 2

The two new faces that will appear in the film are Vo Tan Phat and Ngoc Xuan. If Vo Tan Phat has just succeeded with the movie Nu hon bac bien , Ngoc Xuan also made a special mark in Ngay xua co mot chuyen tinh .

They will join the second part of the film directed by Trung Lun alongside familiar faces who have participated before: Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh, Tuan Tran, Diep Bao Ngoc, La Thanh, Thanh Thuc, Hua Minh Dat, Binh Hung, Hoang Phi,...

Actor Vo Tan Phat affirmed that this is a role that will surprise many audiences about him. Besides, factors such as Tuan Tran, La Thanh,... will also be tested more by director Trung Lun in this film.

However, the crew has not yet revealed any details about who will play what role in the film.

Sharing about his latest project, director Trung Lun said: “This film will take the audience through a variety of emotions, from thrilling, dramatic scenes to profound, heart-touching moments. The drama element will be pushed to a climax, blending with charming comedy and unexpected situations.”

According to the revelation, in part 2, the story will revolve around the difficult journey of the characters when trying to bring a corpse back to their hometown in exchange for a reward. It sounds thrilling, but behind it is a picture rich in emotions about humanity and profound philosophies. Director Trung Lun said he was even more satisfied with part 1.

Previously, the movie Getting Rich with Ghosts was released to audiences on August 30, 2024. The movie has a fantasy tone, revolving around the story of 3 characters Lanh (Tuan Tran), Mr. Dao (Hoai Linh) and Na (Diep Bao Ngoc).

The film surprised the box office when it reached over 128 billion VND. This is the first film produced by Bluebells Studios with impressive milestones achieved such as: Top 1 box office revenue for 3 consecutive weeks; highest-grossing emotional and spiritual film of all time; highest-grossing Vietnamese film of the 2-9 holiday season of all time.

The film was then released directly in 12 international markets such as Malaysia, Brunei, New Zealand, Laos, Indonesia... With the new film, director Trung Lun hopes to continue to bring the audience a cinematic experience that is both humorous, thrilling and more attractive.

Get Rich with Ghosts 2 is expected to be released to audiences on the occasion of September 2nd this year.
