Products found to contain prohibited substances include:
- Man Plus Gold (box of 50 tablets, batch number 040325, manufactured on March 4, 2025, expiry date March 4, 2028);
- Man Plus Gold (box of 50 tablets, batch number 022024, manufactured on December 2, 2024, expiry date December 2, 2027);
- Man Plus Gold (box of 30 tablets, batch number 040325, manufactured on March 4, 2025, expiry date March 4, 2028);
- Man Plus (box of 60 tablets, batch number 102025, manufactured on 10-2-2025, expiry date 10-2-2028);
- Man Plus Gold (box of 30 tablets, batch number 022024, manufactured on 12-2-2024, expiry date 12-2-2027).
Test results showed that all of these products contained Sildenafil and Tadalafil, substances prohibited from use in the production and trading of health protection foods.

In addition, the Food Safety Department also discovered 2 batches of "Cordyceps" products (50 pills and 30 pills) with the label stating "gift not for sale, internal circulation". This product has no information about the manufacturer's facility or address and both contain the banned substances Sildenafil and Tadalafil.
Sildenafil and Tadalafil can cause cardiovascular complications, which are especially dangerous for people with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or cardiovascular disease. Long-term use can lead to erectile dysfunction and other serious health effects.
