According to the initial report of Chu Se District Medical Center, on the evening of March 31, three patients came to the center for examination, including: Hoang Van K. (born in 1967, residing in Ia Ko commune, Chu Se), Nguyen Van T. (born in 1976, residing in Ia Pal commune, Chu Se) and Ho Van Ph. (born in 1984, residing in Chu Se town, Chu Se district). All three patients were received by nurse Cao Thi Lieu according to regulations, measured vital signs, assessed health status, arranged hospital beds and informed the doctor.

After examination, Dr. Nguyen Thi Diem Hang determined that patient Hoang Van K. had signs of respiratory failure, so emergency treatment was given priority. After completing emergency treatment for patient K., Dr. Hang continued to examine patient T., who showed signs of being drunk and in pain. During the examination, Dr. Hang patted the patient's leg to remind him to coordinate his posture. At this time, a young man, a relative of patient Ho Van Ph., expressed dissatisfaction and questioned Dr. Hang about this action.

Despite continuing to work, Dr. Hang was still threatened by the young man and suddenly attacked, punching him in the face and head. Dr. Hang called for help, and with the help of nurse Cao Thi Lieu and security, the subject stopped and left.

After the assault, Dr. Hang was shocked and mentally disturbed and is currently being monitored and treated at the Chu Se District Medical Center. The center has reported the incident to the local police for investigation and legal action.
