Viettel The Cong officially says goodbye to former teammate Salah

According to the latest V-League transfer news, The Cong Viettel has decided to part ways with foreign player Mohammed Essam due to his poor performance.

Viettel The Cong officially said goodbye to Mohammed Essam.

Mohammed Essam is a former Egyptian U20 player and former teammate of Mohamed Salah. This striker joined The Cong Viettel last season and had a few good matches. However, this season Essam has not played as expected and has not scored any goals after 10 matches.

According to coach Nguyen Duc Thang, The Cong Viettel officially said goodbye to Mohammed Essam to welcome a new foreign player. Currently, this team is testing 4 players and will choose 2 of them to register to compete in the next phase of V-League 2023/2024.

Thus, out of the 3 foreign players from the beginning of the season, The Cong Viettel only retained midfielder Jahongir Abdumuminov. The 2 strikers on the attack line, Bruno Cunha and Mohammed Essam, were both liquidated.

If all procedures are completed on time, The Cong Viettel will introduce new foreign players in the match against CAHN Club in round 13 of V-League taking place at Hang Day Stadium at 7:15 p.m. tonight, March 9.
