Provincial Inspectorate deploys tasks in 2024

On the afternoon of January 2, 2024, the Provincial Inspectorate held a conference to summarize the inspection work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024. Attending and chairing the conference were comrades: Vu Chi Giang, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Manh Thang, Provincial Party Committee member, Chief Inspector of the province.

In 2023, the Provincial Inspectorate directed and urged the inspection of departments, branches, districts and cities to focus on synchronously implementing tasks under the direction of the Government Inspectorate; directives of the Provincial Party Committee and directions of the Provincial People's Committee.

The quality of inspections and examinations has been improved. The whole industry has carried out 131 administrative inspections and examinations at 401 units and issued 140 inspection conclusions. Through inspections and examinations, shortcomings and loopholes in management, direction, operation and in the promulgation of policies and laws have been corrected and overcome; recommendations have been made to handle violations of the law, ensuring objectivity, accuracy and compliance with the law.

The work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations has been focused on, with many solutions being implemented synchronously and drastically; reviewing and resolving outstanding, complicated and prolonged complaints and denunciations has been promoted. The work of handling corruption cases has been directed by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to be strictly handled, ensuring the investigation, prosecution and trial of the right people, the right crimes and the right law.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu Chi Giang requested the Inspection sector to continue promoting the achieved results; at the same time, closely follow the direction of the Government Inspectorate's inspection program, the province's inspection plan, and the province's socio-economic development tasks to deploy inspection work.

Strengthen inspection of state management work and the responsibility of leaders in performing assigned tasks, focusing on areas prone to violations, corruption and negativity; properly implement inspection conclusions.

Along with that, promptly, legally and practically resolve complaints and denunciations under the authority right from the beginning, striving to achieve a settlement rate of over 85%; strengthen state management of corruption prevention and control, effectively deploy solutions to prevent corruption...

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals were awarded the Emulation Flag and Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee, Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Inspectorate for their outstanding achievements in inspection work in 2023 and were awarded the "For the cause of Inspection" Medal.
