(NADS) - Due to the impact of storm No. 3, in recent days, Yen Bai city has had very heavy rain, the water level of the Red River through Yen Bai has risen 1.47m higher than the historical flood level in 2008. The rain and flood caused widespread inundation covering 50% of the city's area, isolating many areas in the city, causing landslides in many places in the area, seriously affecting people's lives.

Up to now, after the storm has passed, only ruins, mud and garbage remain. Yen Bai City has mobilized more than 3,000 people, including police, military, militia, shock force, grassroots security, youth union, cadres, civil servants of communes, wards, villages, and residential groups to participate in overcoming the consequences of the natural disaster, so that people can soon stabilize their lives.
