In the first two months of 2024, the total state budget revenue collected by the Tax Department of Thai Binh City - Vu Thu area is estimated to be over 150 billion VND, reaching 14% of the annual estimate; of which the revenue from taxes and fees after deducting land use fees is estimated to be 78.7 billion VND, reaching 17% of the estimate. The Tax Department has focused on inspecting and reviewing enterprises, business households, and tax collection management organizations according to regulations; urging the collection of business license fees and other arising taxes; drastically implementing tax debt enforcement measures, ensuring 100% enforcement of tax debtors; implementing the inspection plan at taxpayers' headquarters. Urging and guiding electronic tax registration, declaration, and payment; reviewing and handling declaration obligations.
To successfully carry out the task of collecting the state budget in 2024, the City's State Budget Collection Steering Committee continues to review, analyze, and carefully evaluate the revenue in the first two months of 2024, identify potential revenue sources, untapped revenue sources, and remaining space, on that basis, propose appropriate and effective solutions to increase revenue. Strengthen tax collection management, thoroughly implement debt management and tax debt enforcement measures.
