Improve the transportation system
Over the past 3 years, Thang Binh district has mobilized more than 1,857 billion VND to invest in infrastructure projects in the area.
Mr. Vo Van Hung - Chairman of the District People's Committee said that identifying transportation as the lifeblood of the economy, the locality is determined to invest in synchronous and modern transportation infrastructure to meet the needs of travel, trade, and freight transport, promoting socio-economic development.
In the period of 2021 - 2023, Thang Binh will invest in traffic infrastructure connecting smoothly with neighboring localities such as Tam Ky, Que Son, Phu Ninh, Tien Phuoc, and Hiep Duc.
Many projects and works have been completed and put into use, such as route DH21 from Ha Lam to Tam Thanh (Phu Ninh); DH19 connecting from National Highway 14E to DT612, DH18 to Que Son district; the road connecting from DH4 to Phu Ninh district...
Investment in developing transport infrastructure in the past 3 years of Thang Binh district reached approximately 150 billion VND. The locality has completed 9.21km of district roads; built 9 new box culverts, 7 bridges, and solidified 33.83km of rural traffic.
Besides, there are many key traffic projects from the central and provincial budgets such as the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14E; completing Vo Chi Cong road; component project of 2 connecting roads from Vo Chi Cong road to Dong Que Son Industrial Park connecting with National Highway 14H and National Highway 1; Binh Sa Bridge project to Binh Hai... Up to now, the project of connecting road from Vo Chi Cong road to National Highway 1 and connecting Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway has been basically completed.
Entering this year's storm season, Thang Binh district has completed investment in repairing and upgrading irrigation works that were severely damaged by previous natural disasters such as Pho Thi dam (Binh Tu), Binh Khuong dam (Binh Giang), Cam Nga dam (Binh Lanh), Suoi Doc bridge (Ha Lam), and Roc bridge (Binh Dinh Bac).
In the past 3 years, the total capital invested in irrigation infrastructure in Thang Binh is nearly 104 billion VND. The locality has also invested in upgrading Ho Do reservoir (Binh Que and Binh Phu), invested in developing and upgrading irrigation works, natural disaster prevention works and climate change response works, thereby ensuring stable irrigation water for agricultural production and aquaculture.
Investment in urban and industrial infrastructure
Identifying urban development as the driving force for socio-economic development, the Standing Committee of Thang Binh District Party Committee has focused on leading and directing urban infrastructure investment in a modern and sustainable direction.
Many internal roads of Ha Lam town have been invested in building new and upgrading such as the inner-city route Ly Tu Trong - National Highway 14E, the route Nguyen Thuat to Huynh Thuc Khang, the route Nguyen Thuat to Tieu La and are upgrading Ly Tu Trong and Thai Phien roads, at the same time investing in completing urban traffic routes in Binh Minh commune.
The Van Tien urban traffic route - Binh Tinh beach, the route from DT613 to Tan An beach is being urgently invested. The total capital that Thang Binh has invested in urban infrastructure is more than 146.3 billion VND.
Regarding the infrastructure of residential areas, Mr. Le Quang Hat - Standing Deputy Secretary of Thang Binh District Party Committee said that up to now, the district has completed the infrastructure of coastal residential areas in Binh Duong (phase 1), Ke Xuyen 2 residential area (Binh Trung), Nghia Hoa village residential area (Binh Nam), completed the infrastructure of Binh Duong Commune Center residential area (phase 2), Binh Nguyen Vocational School residential area (phase 1 and phase 2), residential area of group 4 (Ha Lam town), Tra Doa 1 residential area (Binh Dao) ... to serve the needs of people to settle down and start a business.
Thang Binh also accelerated the progress of implementing new rural residential areas in Hien Luong village (Binh Giang), Ngoc Son Dong village (Binh Phuc) and Tay Giang village (Binh Sa) to serve the resettlement of households affected by key projects in the Eastern region.
Along with transportation, urban areas..., infrastructure of industrial clusters is focused by Thang Binh to make a breakthrough in socio-economic development. Up to now, the district has invested and put into use the Wastewater Treatment Area of Ha Lam - Cho Duoc Industrial Cluster, creating favorable conditions for sustainable industrial development. The project to invest in construction and business of infrastructure of Tam Thang Expanded Industrial Park is implementing infrastructure construction.
Thang Binh district recently worked with investors to promote investment in infrastructure of the industrial park west of the Da Nang - Quang Ngai highway through Thang Binh district, with a scale of about 400 hectares.
