Keeping the revolutionary fire burning, Thang Binh promotes the tradition of solidarity within the Party

In August 2019, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang - Deputy Chief of Office of Thang Binh District Party Committee was transferred by the Standing Committee of Thang Binh District Party Committee to take up the position of Secretary of Binh Dao Commune Party Committee.

Having had a lot of experience when he was previously assigned to be a party staff member, in his key leadership position in the commune Party Committee, Mr. Hoang quickly got into the swing of things, together with the grassroots Party Committee, promoting the spirit of solidarity and unity, setting an example in carrying out assigned political tasks.

“During the performance of my duties, I went directly to residential areas to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, party members, and people to promptly direct the resolution of difficulties and problems.

On that basis, together with the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee proposed policies and solutions to lead the implementation of local political tasks well" - Mr. Hoang shared.

With the consensus of the people, by the end of 2024, Binh Dao commune will complete the construction of an advanced new rural commune and submit the dossier to the province for appraisal. The material and spiritual life of the people has been improved, with an average income per capita of 65.5 million VND/year (no more poor households according to multidimensional criteria).

In 2025, Binh Dao commune was assigned by the district to achieve the outstanding new rural model standard in terms of production organization criteria to contribute to completing the targets set by the Resolution of the District Party Congress.

At the beginning of liberation, Thang Binh had 29 grassroots party organizations with 462 party members. Up to now, the whole district has 5,370 party members operating in 61 grassroots party organizations, with 247 party cells under the grassroots party committees.

Notably, the province and district have invested in many large, key projects with breakthrough characteristics that have changed the face of the locality. These include the construction of the new Binh Dao bridge; the road connecting Vo Chi Cong to Cay Coc; upgrading and expanding Dong Truong Giang road (DH 2.TB)...

Mr. Tran Cong Lanh (82 years old, residing in Phuoc Long village) shared that his family has voluntarily donated land many times to open the DH 2.TB route in front of his house. Most recently, his family donated nearly 20 square meters of land and architectural structures worth more than 100 million VND to upgrade and expand this route.

Among many achievements recognized by superiors, on November 19, 2024, the Prime Minister awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag to the people and cadres of Binh Dao commune for their excellent and comprehensive completion of their work tasks, leading the patriotic emulation movement in 2023 of Quang Nam province.

Focus on key tasks

Strengthening solidarity and unity within the Party, Thang Binh District Party Committee focuses on Party building and rectification work with effective concretization of Party resolutions in this field. Especially associated with the implementation of Directive No. 05, Conclusion No. 01 of the Politburo on studying and following Uncle Ho's example and regulations on exemplary responsibility of cadres and Party members.

Mr. Le Quang Hat - Standing Deputy Secretary of Thang Binh District Party Committee said that the District Party Committee focuses on leading and directing the arrangement of the Party organization in sync with the apparatus of the political system. Leading and directing the arrangement of the internal apparatus of each agency in the direction of reducing the number of subordinate organizations, ensuring unity, synchronization, concentration, and efficiency in the leadership, direction, management, operation, and organization of the implementation of political tasks of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, departments, branches, and unions.

According to Mr. Hat, the district has well implemented the policy of mobilizing and rotating cadres, closely combining with the arrangement of a number of key leadership positions at the commune level who are not local people in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 20, dated December 20, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee.

The staff is rotated to gradually mature, through training and challenges in each position, demonstrating their abilities and strengths, improving their capacity and having comprehensive leadership methods, thereby promoting local socio-economic development.

In the past 5 years, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has decided to transfer and rotate 9 leaders and managers to hold key leadership positions in the commune (including 10 Party secretaries and 2 commune People's Committee chairmen who are not local people).

The District Party Committee also issued Resolution No. 06 dated April 24, 2019 on the transfer and rotation of commune and town leaders for the period 2019 - 2020. Up to now, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has transferred 8 leaders between communes; transferred and rotated 36 comrades horizontally from one agency to another.

“The district Party Committee also pays special attention to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection and supervision work of Party organizations and Inspection Committees at all levels. Focus on inspecting Party members, Party Committee members at the same level and Party organizations when there are signs of violations.

This has contributed to educating and promptly and strictly handling violations of Party organizations and Party members. Gradually strengthening and strictly maintaining Party discipline and administrative discipline; improving the quality and effectiveness of the political system's operations, consolidating the people's trust in the Party and the government, creating an increasingly high consensus in society..." - Mr. Hat said.
