On the morning of August 16, under the chairmanship of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee had a working session with the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and agencies in the Internal Affairs bloc.

Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Nguyen Cuong reported on the situation and results of the implementation of the Internal Affairs bloc's tasks in the first 7 months of 2023 and tasks for the coming time.

In July 2023, the national security situation in the area was basically stable; crimes and law violations were basically controlled.

Agencies in the Internal Affairs sector have ensured that their assigned tasks are carried out quite well; coordination between the Internal Affairs Committee and agencies in the sector has become increasingly in-depth, basically meeting work requirements and tasks.

The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee advised the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee to issue 39 documents to lead and direct the implementation of internal affairs, judicial reform, and prevention and combat of corruption and negativity; coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee to advise on the organization and service of 7 regular citizen reception sessions of the Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; received, classified and processed 122 petitions.

The police, military and border guard agencies have been proactive in performing the tasks of protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety and national defense tasks, completing the 2023 provincial defense zone exercise to ensure safety and achieve the set goals and requirements.

At the meeting, delegates analyzed and clarified the results achieved by the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and agencies in the Internal Affairs bloc in the past time, at the same time pointed out some limitations and proposed solutions to implement key tasks in the coming time.
