Thereby, encouraging the entire people to strive to overcome difficulties and continue to achieve great victories on the path of development and integration.

Colonel Le Thanh Cu was one of the steadfast soldiers who fought to defend Tuc Dup Hill in the past. He was awarded many resistance medals, military exploit medals, and glorious soldier medals by the State. On May 19, 2011, Colonel Le Thanh Cu was honored to receive the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.
