In parallel with production and business activities, THACO AGRI always focuses on developing quality human resources. THACO AGRI currently has more than 21,600 employees in 3 countries: Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Inheriting the industrial management foundation and the integrated and complementary production and business model between THACO's member corporations, THACO AGRI pioneers in developing the agricultural sector, implementing a large-scale agricultural production strategy on an industrial organic basis, while focusing on developing industrial human resources in agriculture. Agricultural industrialization strategy THACO AGRI (a member corporation of THACO) was established in 2019, with a large-scale, integrated and circular agricultural production strategy on an organic basis. After 5 years of operation, THACO AGRI has formed a model of integrated and circular agricultural production complexes on a large scale, specializing in banana and pineapple cultivation and other fruit tree cultivation (mango, grapefruit, durian) combined with cattle farming; breeding cattle, calves and semi-grazed beef cattle, concentrated fattening beef cattle; breeding pigs and pigs combined with forestry planting; raising other species (goats, fish, swiftlets, etc.); producing agricultural materials, agricultural mechanics; processing fruits, producing banana fiber; producing organic microbial and organic mineral fertilizers on a total area of over 84,000 hectares in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

Realizing that investment in the agricultural sector requires careful, methodical and scientific calculation, THACO AGRI focuses on researching and developing techniques, applying mechanization, biotechnology and digitalization with a suitable roadmap to improve production and business efficiency. THACO AGRI continuously researches and invests in seed centers, applies science and technology and new generation specialized machinery in agriculture, completes the infrastructure of industrial clusters in the Complexes, and puts into operation factories serving industrial production in agriculture.

Investment, expansion of production and business In 2024, THACO AGRI will continue to invest 5,400 billion VND in investment projects in construction, new planting, and livestock breeding to create a foundation for sustainable agricultural development. Accordingly, THACO AGRI will plant 5,200 hectares of new bananas, increasing the total banana production area to 6,600 hectares and plant 60 hectares of new pineapples. In addition, the Group plans to increase the total number of cows by the end of 2024 to 114,000, with an estimated output of 9,200 cows for sale. The total area for fruit tree production combined with cattle breeding is 6,000 hectares, with an estimated export fruit output of 61,000 tons (60,000 tons of bananas and 1,000 tons of other fruit trees). In the coming time, THACO AGRI will continue to provide the market with agricultural products of organic origin (fresh and processed) for export with high productivity and quality. This year, THACO AGRI's agricultural export revenue is expected to reach about 46 million USD and domestic revenue is 1,600 billion VND. In 2025, the Group is expected to reach 300 million USD in export and about 2,500 billion VND from domestic revenue. By 2027, after completing the investment, THACO AGRI aims to reach 1 billion USD in agricultural product exports.

Focus on developing human resources in agriculture In parallel with production and business activities, THACO AGRI always focuses on developing quality human resources. THACO AGRI currently has more than 21,600 employees in 3 countries: Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. The Group has organized many internal training courses to help employees improve their knowledge and skills to effectively apply advanced technologies in production, while promoting the recruitment of foreign experts, technicians and agricultural engineers. Developing local human resources, creating a working environment for employees to develop their skills and management capacity, ensuring salaries appropriate to the capacity and contribution of each individual. THACO AGRI focuses on social security work, taking care of the lives of workers. At the Complexes in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, THACO AGRI builds free housing for employees; signs labor contracts, pays health insurance, social insurance; Arrange medical rooms to examine and dispense medicine to workers when they are sick; open convenience stores so that workers can access a variety of quality necessities at non-profit prices.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, THACO AGRI will recruit nearly 9,000 new employees (including more than 800 technical professionals with university, college and intermediate degrees in the fields of animal husbandry - veterinary medicine, cultivation, mechanics, industrial production, electricity and water, etc.) for its complexes and affiliated corporations in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. In 2025, THACO AGRI plans to recruit 21,000 people, bringing the total number of employees by the end of the year to more than 52,000 people.
