On June 8, information from Thanh Hoa Electricity Company (PC Thanh Hoa) said that to ensure sufficient electricity supply for the 10th grade entrance exam in the 2023-2024 school year and the 2023 high school graduation exam, PC Thanh Hoa has coordinated with the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa and local authorities to develop a plan to ensure electricity supply for examination councils and examination sites.

According to the plan, each testing site and the examination board will have a generator to prevent power outages. Ensuring electricity will ensure that candidates and staff on duty have enough light and use fans to cool down due to the prolonged hot weather.

PC Thanh Hoa also said that it has arranged personnel to check the electrical systems of the examination sites to ensure that the electrical systems operate stably and safely during the examination. At the same time, no power outages will be carried out on the grid.

According to information from the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, nearly 40,000 candidates registered for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year in Thanh Hoa province, with 87 examination councils established. The exam took place from June 9-10.

As for the 2023 high school graduation exam in Thanh Hoa province, more than 36,000 candidates registered to take the exam, with 75 exam locations. The exam took place from June 27 to 30.
