YCH Group deploys logistics project in Tay Ninh

On March 26, YCH Group (Singapore) led by Mr. Yap Kwong Weng - General Director of Vietnam SuperPort, had a working session with the Provincial People's Committee on issues related to the implementation of logistics projects in Tay Ninh. Coordinate and support the completion of legal procedures

Recently, YCH Group (Singapore) has conducted many working sessions, exchanges and field surveys in Tay Ninh province to promote cooperation in the field of logistics and develop modern warehouse infrastructure in the locality.

Up to now, YCH Group has provided the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board with the business registration certificate and business registration certificate of T&Y Superport Vinh Phuc Joint Stock Company.

In the coming time, YCH Group hopes that the Economic Zone Management Board will actively coordinate and support the Group in completing legal procedures and guiding the rapid implementation of logistics projects at Moc Bai Border Gate Economic Zone.

At the meeting, Mr. Yap Kwong Weng - General Director of Vietnam SuperPort briefly reported on the contents implemented and the investment strategy orientation of YCH Group in the logistics project with a scale of about 10 hectares in Thuan Tay Hamlet, Loi Thuan Commune, Ben Cau District (in Moc Bai Border Gate Economic Zone); proposed detailed cooperation plans and requested support from local authorities to quickly implement the project.

YCH Group requests the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to support the provision of documents guiding investors and gantt charts for project implementation; official procedures and timelines for selecting investors through land use rights auctions; providing contact points of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and departments and branches related to the project; providing data and information on the detailed planning of Moc Bai Economic Zone, the import-export situation around the above area.

Discussing the memorandum of understanding with 6 key cooperation contents

At the meeting, the two sides discussed a memorandum of understanding including 6 key cooperation contents: cooperation on a 10-hectare logistics project at Moc Bai Border Gate; promoting connectivity and modernization of logistics infrastructure; exploiting e-commerce infrastructure deployed by YCH Group; applying advanced technology solutions; sustainable development associated with the goal of zero net waste; developing high-quality logistics human resources in the locality.

Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh chaired the meeting.

Accordingly, YCH Group will develop and operate logistics projects according to the Mini SuperPort model and centralized storage and distribution centers; support small and medium enterprises to expand their markets through cross-border e-commerce, exploit YCH's trading platform; introduce advanced technologies from YCH and leading partners to improve the efficiency and scalability of the logistics system in Tay Ninh.

The Group also integrates sustainable solutions towards the goal of achieving net zero emissions, supporting the province in green transformation; providing jobs and training programs for local human resources...

Tay Ninh province will support YCH Group in investment procedures, update local regulations, policies and infrastructure plans related to the project; support legal documents and planning to facilitate research and project proposals; support local small and medium enterprises with policies and incentives to promote exports through the YSG e-commerce platform; support policies and develop infrastructure to serve the application of logistics technology in line with the province's development goals; provide necessary resources, support policies and connect with industries to implement YCH training programs...

Plan to develop specialized warehouse

YCH Group plans to develop a dedicated warehouse system to meet commercial needs and enhance cross-border connectivity between Vietnam and Cambodia.

Accordingly, the Group plans to build 4 warehouses, including: bonded warehouse, distribution center, cold storage and build-to-suit warehouse. Thereby, integrating sustainable solutions to exploit the increasingly expanding trade and logistics potential between Vietnam and Cambodia.

The development of specialized warehouses aims to help delay tax obligations during storage, suitable for import-export enterprises transporting commercial goods across borders; meeting the transportation needs of neighboring industrial zones. Integrating technology in inventory management and order processing; meeting the cold storage needs to serve the increasing import-export output of agricultural products.

In addition, the warehouse can be designed to suit e-commerce, high-tech manufacturing and retail supply chains; integrating sustainable solutions - applying solar panels, renewable energy, using green building materials.

In his concluding remarks, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh assigned relevant departments, agencies and sectors to coordinate with YCH Group to promptly implement the project, provide detailed instructions on legal procedures, comply with current Vietnamese laws, and be in line with the local development orientation.
