On the afternoon of December 10, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and T&T Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for the "New Urban Area" housing construction investment project in Ward 1, Ca Mau City.
The project scale is nearly 23 hectares and the total investment capital is over 1,000 billion VND; built with the goal of becoming a civilized and modern urban area, synchronous in architecture, technical infrastructure, and social infrastructure. Thereby contributing to sustainable urban development and gradually concretizing the housing development program of Ca Mau province until 2025 and orientation to 2030.
According to the plan, the project will build a total of 1,307 products, with a variety of types such as: townhouses combined with commercial services, townhouses, villas, mixed housing and social housing. This place promises to become an ideal place to live for nearly 5,000 residents in Ca Mau.
In addition, the project also has modern amenities such as: cultural - sports center, school, medical facilities...
Mr. Lam Van Bi, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, informed at the groundbreaking ceremony: "Immediately after selecting the investor, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province directed the functional agencies, local authorities and related units to support, remove difficulties and obstacles, and speed up the progress of site clearance. It can be said that the biggest difficulty when implementing investment projects using land is compensation and site clearance. But up to now, the cleared site has reached over 90% of the total project area".
On this occasion, T&T Group donated 300 million VND to the fund for the poor of Ca Mau province.
