T&T Group strategic cooperation with FPT Corporation

On August 15, in Hanoi, T&T Group and FPT Corporation signed a strategic cooperation agreement with many important contents in the fields of education, digital transformation, information technology and smart cities.

The cooperation event between T&T Group and FPT opens a new development step when the parties will accompany each other in the digital transformation process, build and apply advanced technology solutions in the management and operation of smart urban projects, invest in the construction and operation of educational facilities to aim at developing T&T Group to become the leading digital transformation and technology application group in Vietnam; to contribute to promoting economic - social - cultural - educational development, solving urban problems and improving the quality of life for people.

Accordingly, in the field of education, the two sides will cooperate in investing, constructing and operating FPT educational facilities according to the planning within the scope of projects developed by T&T Group.

In the field of digital transformation and information technology, T&T Group and FPT will cooperate to build a smart urban area management center (ICCC); build a data center in the urban area combined with cloud computing, build an IoT platform connecting all smart devices and sensors in the urban area, build a Mega App platform to quickly develop mobile applications for residents.

In parallel, the two sides will cooperate to deploy smart solutions based on IoT and ICCC platforms; deploy big data analysis solutions, apply artificial intelligence to analyze data; build and deploy solutions to serve operations; deploy smart resident applications to create a modern and convenient living experience.

In the field of smart cities, FPT will provide FPT Camera security camera solutions - applying the most advanced technologies (artificial intelligence, cloud computing) to support centralized and effective monitoring on a large scale for urban areas, smart cities (public areas, commercial service areas, high-end apartment buildings, etc.) and FPT Smarthome smart home solutions with many utility values and experiences for building and apartment projects.

To concretize the strategic cooperation contents, T&T Group and FPT also signed an investment cooperation agreement for the project of Commercial Area, Villas and Luxury Apartments - T&T City Millennia (Long Hau Commune, Can Giuoc District, Long An Province) in the fields of education, telecommunications infrastructure and smart cities. The two sides plan to invest, build and operate FPT educational facilities with a scale of about 2.54 hectares at the T&T City Millennia project. In the next phase, FPT will continue to research and invest in the remaining school items of the project (excluding kindergartens).

In addition, FPT plans to invest in telecommunications systems (cable TV, internet), FPT Camera security camera solutions and FPT Smart Home in the T&T City Millennia urban area.

Therefore, in recent years, in all production and business activities, cooperation with large international corporations, T&T Group has a clause that after 10-15 years, partners will have to transfer technology and train domestic personnel to be able to take on important positions so that Vietnam has high-quality human resources.
