Tuyen Quang focuses on strongly developing the non-public preschool education system.

The province maintains 100% of preschool groups and classes studying two sessions per day; ensuring that the rate of underweight and stunted children is below 5%, while the rate of overweight and obese children is controlled below 1%. Regarding training and capacity building for teachers and managers, it is expected that 99% of teachers will have a college degree or higher; 92% of teachers will meet professional standards at a fair level or higher.

All teachers and key managers will participate in professional development programs. Maintain and develop a network of preschools and classes that are suitable to the local socio-economic conditions, ensuring that all children have access to preschool education. At the same time, focus on developing the non-public preschool education system in areas with conditions, increasing the rate of children attending preschools and improving the quality of education and child care.

To effectively implement the above objectives, the province has set out a number of key tasks and solutions: Completing the planning of the school network, increasing investment in facilities for preschool education; Increasing the rate of preschool mobilization; Maintaining and improving the quality of universalization for 5-year-old children; gradually ensuring the criteria for universalizing preschool education for 3-4 year-old children; innovating management work; improving the quality of health care and nutrition for children; mobilizing financial resources, promoting socialization and international cooperation in preschool education.
