Create the best conditions for team members and children to study, practice and develop comprehensively.

- Sir! Could you please give us an overview of the outstanding results in the team work and children's movement in Quang Tri in the period 2020 - 2025?

- In recent times, local team bases have actively deployed and effectively implemented the goals, directions, and programs of team work and the children's movement. Team bases have proactively advised the Party Committee and government, actively coordinated with relevant sectors, and created favorable conditions and resources for the team organization's activities to develop further.

The team's operation method has many innovations, the content is close to reality and the needs of children. The movement "Quang Tri children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" has spread strongly. Team bases actively research, innovate, and diversify the forms of organizing propaganda and educating children about the history and traditions of the nation and locality associated with the activities: "Journey to the red address"; "Silk shirt for grandmother"; "Blanket for mother"...

Through that, over 10,000 gifts, worth billions of VND, were given to families with preferential policies. With the motto: "Children do small things", the teams continued to launch many campaigns, collect donations, and support thousands of disadvantaged children. Many new and effective models and activities were deployed, attracting a large number of team members and children to participate. During the period of 2020 - 2025, the army at all levels commended and awarded the title "Uncle Ho's Good Children" to 69,844 exemplary team members and children.

- To achieve the above results, in addition to the efforts of the team members and children, how did the military at all levels in the province participate, sir?

- For a long time, we have paid special attention to the work of protecting, caring for, educating children and youth and building the team organization. All levels of the army have paid much attention to building a team of cadres in charge of children. The coordination between the youth union, the team organization and the education and training sector in the team work and the children's movement has become increasingly close.

During the past term, the Provincial Youth Union Council directed and guided 100% of the youth union units to organize diverse and effective activities for children. According to statistics, all levels of the army presented more than 12,000 gifts and scholarships worth nearly 10 billion VND to children in difficult circumstances.

More than 1,500 communication, propaganda and skills education activities have been organized by all levels of the army, including 360 free swimming classes. In the period of 2020 - 2025, the Youth Union and Team at all levels mobilized working days and construction fees to build 198 playgrounds for children in 125/125 communes, wards and towns in the province...

- One of the notable points in the last term is that the provincial military at all levels paid great attention to promoting children's right to participate in issues related to children. Could you please share more information about this?

- Understanding the significance of promoting children's right to participate in issues related to children, in recent times, all levels of the provincial army have actively participated. The 2016 Law on Children has been effectively propagated and disseminated by all levels of the army in diverse and rich forms. The Provincial Youth Union Council has advised the Provincial People's Committee to establish the Provincial Children's Council; guided and directed the establishment of district-level children's councils; directed the establishment of 160 children's rights clubs in the Youth Unions...

Not stopping there, the Provincial Youth Union also coordinated with Plan International in Quang Tri to present 198 “What I Want to Say Mailboxes” to 100% of the Youth Unions in the province, thereby contributing to the effective implementation of the work of promoting children’s right to participate in issues related to children. Activities of dialogue, meetings, listening to children’s thoughts, aspirations and opinions are organized regularly.

- In the coming time, what will the Provincial Youth Union do to further promote its role and position in the work of the Youth Union and the children's movement?

- We always identify that there needs to be regular changes, breakthroughs, and creativity in team work and children's movements to create the best conditions for team members and children to study, practice, and develop comprehensively. With that awareness, in the coming time, all levels of the army will deploy and implement many synchronous solutions. The first thing is to focus on propaganda, raising awareness of the position, role, and importance of the team organization, identifying that "building the team is building the union one step ahead".

Along with that, we will promote the emulation movement associated with the work of educating revolutionary ideals for team members and children. The provincial team councils at all levels will continue to promote the movement "Quang Tri children compete to implement Uncle Ho's 5 teachings".

To organize a strong team, the Provincial Team Council will strengthen training and foster skills and expertise for the team of teachers in charge of the team; focus on building a team of cadres at the team level, sub-team level, and in charge of children's stars; develop team members, children's stars... We will direct the team councils at all levels to continue to pay attention, research, and seek new models and solutions in activities at the grassroots level.

At the same time, the Provincial Youth Union Council will continue to strengthen its advice to the Party Committee and government, coordinate with agencies and units to mobilize resources to effectively organize and implement programs and activities for beloved juniors.
