Speeding up construction of the 650 billion VND bridge across the Ganh Hao River

On September 1, according to information from the Management Board of Traffic Construction Projects of Ca Mau province, up to now, the investment project to build a bridge across Ganh Hao river (connecting Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces) has reached over 65% of the implementation volume, and the site has been 100% cleared.

The Ganh Hao Bridge Construction Project is component 3 of the Ong Doc River Bridge Project, the East-West Axis and Ganh Hao Bridge. Implementation period 2021-2024.

The location of the Ganh Hao bridge construction project has its starting point at the intersection with the East-West axis road (at Km 39+550 and the coastal road of Ca Mau province, about 300m from Rach Coc bridge towards Ganh Hao town, Dong Hai district, Bac Lieu province).

The end point of the bridge project connecting to the existing road is 1/3 road according to the general planning of Ganh Hao town, Dong Hai district, Bac Lieu province.

Ganh Hao Bridge belongs to group B, has a design load of HL93, is 12m wide (vehicle width is 11m), and has a total cost of over 650 billion VND.

The investment in building a bridge across the Ganh Hao River aims to gradually complete the traffic infrastructure system according to the approved planning of the two provinces of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau.

Ganh Hao Bridge is expected to be closed at the end of November 2024, technically opened to traffic in December 2024, and accepted and put into use in the first quarter of 2025.
