With the message of avoiding waste from the Japanese philosophy of Mottainai, cleaning out the closet and donating used clothes has become a habit of many Vietnamese people. This is one of the easiest green living actions to do when you can reuse or recycle rarely used fashion items in your closet.
From now until September 3, your used clothes will have a new “destination”: 81 Mottainai boxes placed at the showrooms and dealerships of the Aristino fashion brand nationwide. The clothes will be selected, cleaned, and, together with the Vietnam Women’s Newspaper, donated to people in difficult circumstances across the provinces and cities.
This is also the right time for you to update your wardrobe when shopping at Aristino, while joining hands to raise the Mottainai fund to support more than 280 orphans, children in difficult circumstances and 10 open houses, orphanage centers in provinces and cities nationwide. For each product sold within the campaign, Aristino donates 10,000 VND to the Mottainai fund.
Up to now, the campaign "Wear.Care.Share - Standard style. Quality of love" to raise funds for Mottainai has received a lot of support and contributions from artists and celebrities in many fields: center back Que Ngoc Hai and his wife, midfielder Tran Thi Hai Linh, actress Thanh Huong, MC Dai Nghia, writer Hoang Anh Tu - "Chanh Van" of Hoa Hoc Tro newspaper, beauty queen "Crescent moon" Be Thi Bang, MC Dinh Phuong Nam...
After 10 days of launching, the stars and the community raised 350 million VND in cash and 2,000 used clothes at 81 Mottainai boxes nationwide.
According to recent statistics from the Ministry of Public Security over the past 10 years, on average, about 20,000 traffic accidents occur each year, killing 7,000 people and injuring about 16,000 people. Of these, about 70% of those killed and injured are the breadwinners in their families. In addition, in the past 2 years of the Covid-19 pandemic, 4,461 Vietnamese children have become orphans, especially 193 children who have lost both parents - according to a report from the Department of Children (Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs).
Sympathizing with this pain, Aristino has collaborated with the Vietnamese Women's Newspaper to launch the campaign "Wear.Care.Share - Standard style. Quality love" with the goal of raising funds to support children who are victims of traffic accidents, orphans due to Covid-19 and other causes, children in difficult circumstances, and 10 open houses and orphanage centers in provinces and cities nationwide.
