In the first 7 months of 2024, the total number of visitors and vacationers is estimated at 2.62 million, up 20.7% over the same period, reaching 81.9% of the yearly plan; of which, international visitors are estimated at 63,000, up 169.2% over the same period, reaching 63% of the plan; social income from tourism activities is estimated at 2,962 billion VND.
Comrade Truong Van Tien, Director of the Ninh Thuan Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center (ITTC Ninh Thuan), said: In recent times, tourism promotion and promotion have been focused on and promoted. Regarding on-site investment promotion, from the beginning of 2024 to present, ITTC Ninh Thuan has advised the Provincial People's Committee to organize receptions and work with 16 investors and domestic and international delegations, such as: Brunei business delegation led by Dr. Nasir Latif, Chairman of AeroAsia Holding Development Group in Brunei and Country Director of BIMP - EAGA; Working delegation of Gwangju enterprises (Korea); Working delegation of Jeju City Sea Sports Association (Korea); Donggang Industry and Trade Group Co., Ltd. of China; Bang Zhen Technology Co., Ltd. (China); Vietnam Transport Marketing and Tourism Joint Stock Company (Viettravel)... to Ninh Thuan to learn about the potential, advantages and seek investment opportunities in the province. Thereby, the center introduced the potentials and advantages of the province and priority projects calling for investment, focusing on projects in the Southern key economic zone and other tourism and energy projects.

In addition to promoting domestic tourism, the province is focusing on attracting international tourism markets, especially markets from Korea, China, and India. ITTC Ninh Thuan has organized many promotional events, connecting with Korean tourism associations such as Wonju province, Jeju city, Gwangju... As a result, tour routes have begun to form. In addition to the tourist market from Korea, Ninh Thuan province also organizes conferences to promote tourism to localities in China and India. Typically, in May 2024, the Ninh Thuan provincial delegation had a program to survey and promote tourism in China, in which the delegation met and worked with the Sichuan 3U Tourism Alliance of China. During the working trip, the Ninh Thuan provincial Tourism Association signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the Sichuan 3U Tourism Alliance of China on developing tour routes for tourism enterprises of both sides. In early June 2024, the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province organized a meeting program to connect Ninh Thuan tourism businesses and Kerala state, India. ITTC Ninh Thuan advised the Provincial People's Committee to approve the Project to participate in the local promotion program in the Netherlands - Germany.
Investment in tourism infrastructure construction is focused, infrastructure systems continue to be invested, especially coastal roads in tourism development planning areas; infrastructure and technical equipment serving tourism are significantly improved, many historical and cultural relics, scenic spots are restored and effectively exploited; tourism spots, tourism routes, and tourism tours are formed and developed. According to the report of the Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee, as of June 2024, in the province, there are 56 tourism projects that have been granted investment policy decisions and investment registration certificates (still valid), with a total registered capital of VND 52,469.2 billion. Of which, 26 projects have been put into operation with a total registered capital of VND 3,999.5 billion; 20 projects are under construction with a total registered capital of 41,800.7 billion VND and 10 projects are completing related legal procedures for construction, with a total registered capital of 6,669 billion VND. There are currently 212 tourist accommodation establishments in the province with 4,686 rooms. Tourism enterprises in the province have invested in and upgraded many tourist spots and areas to create a spread, promote the image of Ninh Thuan tourism, diversify tourism products, making the itinerary to visit Ninh Thuan more interesting and full of experiences.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee, said: In the coming time, all levels and sectors will continue to effectively implement Resolution No. 04-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on developing Ninh Thuan tourism into a spearhead economic sector in the 2021-2025 period and vision to 2030; perfecting the state management apparatus on tourism, promoting the role of the Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee, the Provincial Tourism Association, improving the capacity and efficiency of investment promotion, trade promotion and tourism promotion agencies. Continue to promote and mobilize businesses to improve the quality of tourism services; invest in construction, diversify types of services, nighttime entertainment, display and souvenir sales points, contributing to creating a rich variety of tourism products, meeting the increasing needs of domestic and foreign tourists. Promote tourism promotion activities; strengthen cooperation and linkage with provinces, cities, units and tourism enterprises to create more tourism products and attractive destinations to meet the needs of domestic and international tourists.
Continue to monitor and urge investors to proactively contact relevant sectors to complete legal procedures, speed up construction progress and commit to the progress of completing tourism projects. Focus on removing and resolving difficulties and obstacles of tourism enterprises to ensure timely, strict, effective and in accordance with regulations. Diversify tourism products, build specific products serving tourism, promote OCOP products in the province. Speed up the progress of transport infrastructure projects in the province connecting with the region, meeting the goals of socio-economic development in general and the tourism industry in particular; continue to coordinate with relevant units to advise on investment in developing a system of high-quality, modern, convenient and synchronous tourism facilities and techniques to meet the needs of tourists.
