At the same time, propagate and mobilize people not to participate in or assist in the transportation and trading of animals and animal products, especially pigs and pig products illegally smuggled into and out of the province and district.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development also requested the Provincial Police to direct the traffic police force to increase inspections at checkpoints on national and provincial highways to promptly stop vehicles (pig transport vehicles). Closely coordinate with the Provincial Market Management Department, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine and localities to strictly handle the transportation and trading of animal products that have not been quarantined by veterinary agencies, of unknown origin circulating in the market (especially sick pigs)...

In particular, the provinces bordering Binh Thuan such as Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau have had outbreaks of African swine fever. Particularly in Binh Thuan, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development said that in April 2023, the whole province controlled the slaughter of over 5,300 livestock and poultry. Currently, there are no dangerous outbreaks in the province. Some other infectious diseases occur sporadically and do not spread into epidemics.
