(HQ Online) - Basically, the General Department of Customs has completed the application to connect and exploit information from the National Database (NDB) on population through the communication infrastructure of the Ministry of Finance and connect to the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06, Ministry of Public Security).

To deploy connection and data sharing between the General Department of Customs' IT system and the National Population Database, the General Department of Customs has basically completed the application to connect and exploit information from the National Population Database via the Ministry of Finance's communication infrastructure and connect to C06.
Up to now, the connection channel between the General Department of Customs' server and the Ministry of Finance's Secure Server has been established.
By March 14, 2024, with the support of C06, the Department of Informatics and Financial Statistics (Ministry of Finance), VNPT, the Customs sector had successfully connected to the C06 testing system for 3 services (Personal identification number and identity card verification service, Household information verification service, Citizen information lookup service) through the platform of the Administrative Procedures Information System at the ministerial and provincial levels to serve the authentication and sharing of citizen information when performing administrative procedures.
Currently, the Customs sector is continuing to complete the integration of these search results into the information system of the General Department of Customs.
The remaining 3 services (Citizen information authentication service, Personal identification number suggestion service (without ID number) and Personal identification number suggestion service) are not currently integrated into the administrative procedure settlement information system at the ministerial and provincial levels to serve the authentication and sharing of citizen information when performing administrative procedures, but are deployed on the national data integration and sharing platform system managed by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
The General Department of Customs is continuing to research to be able to connect and integrate these services with the General Department of Customs' information system.
