This humanitarian journey has been going on for more than 3 years, and will continue to be launched by Shinhan Life right at the beginning of the new year 2025.
Supporting the comprehensive development of children at SOS Villages

With the desire to bring equal development opportunities to all children and adolescents, Shinhan Life Vietnam's programs to support the sustainable development of future generations focus on two groups: the general youth group, and the youth group with special circumstances. In the group of children and adolescents with special circumstances, the life insurer from Korea has entered its 4th year of accompanying SOS Children's Village Vietnam.
Over the past 3 years, Shinhan Life has implemented many practical activities to support the comprehensive development of both physical and mental health, as well as create the best conditions for children's learning. Most recently, at the beginning of the new year 2025, Shinhan Life and DXC Technology Vietnam donated 100 million VND to renovate the sports field and 08 sets of learning computers to SOS Children's Village Ben Tre. The practical gift of love has brought joy to teachers and all children of SOS Children's Village Ben Tre in the new year.

Surely in the near future, children of SOS Village Ben Tre will be able to practice physical exercises on a new and more spacious playground. Physical activities at this age will help children develop healthily and comprehensively. DXC Vietnam General Director, Mr. Ngo Hung Phuong also shared his joy when accompanying Shinhan Life, donating 08 sets of computers, contributing to improving learning facilities and helping children develop necessary IT skills for their studies, as well as their future jobs.
Extending the journey of charity for a sustainable future generation of Vietnam
Shinhan Life Vietnam CEO Bae Seung Jun is always involved in the company's corporate social responsibility activities. During his recent visit to SOS Children's Village Ben Tre, he shared that investing in child care and education for children and adolescents will continue to be the focus of Shinhan Life Vietnam in the coming time, in addition to the mission of providing long-term financial solutions to protect the future of Vietnamese families.
The commitment to join hands to create a sustainable future generation for Vietnam has been implemented by Shinhan Life since the company started operating 3 years ago. Since then, the Korean life insurer has always accompanied SOS Children's Village Vietnam, starting with the donation of 15 sets of learning computers along with the cost of building a Community Medicine Cabinet for SOS Children's Village Hanoi with a total value of nearly 300 million VND by the end of 2022. In November 2023, the Company continued to donate a sponsorship package of nearly 150 million VND for the cost of repairing, renovating and purchasing equipment for the multi-function room of SOS Children's Village Da Nang.

In addition to sponsorship activities aimed at taking care of children's physical and mental health, Shinhan Life pays special attention to programs to support learning facilities and soft skills training, career guidance for the youth group of SOS Children's Villages Vietnam. Typically, the iLead training program for youth of SOS Children's Villages Vietnam in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, aged 15 to 25, was implemented in 2023 and received many positive receptions.

Along with the journey of love for more than 3 years with SOS Children's Village Vietnam, Shinhan Life also has a long journey of accompanying children with leukemia who are being treated at the City Children's Hospital. In more than 3 years, 600 million VND in hospital fees have been sponsored by Shinhan Life, helping children in difficult circumstances to access timely and effective treatment regimens.
Sharing about the social responsibility strategy in 2025, Mr. Bae Seung Jun said that in addition to Shinhan Life Insurance's own initiatives, the company will actively participate in community activities to spread the "One Shinhan" spirit of charity with member companies of Shinhan Group.
