(Dan Tri) - During a birthday party, a young man brought fireworks and set them off on the median strip of Highway 1 to add to the fun. Afterwards, about 20 young men rushed out onto the street to dance, affecting traffic.
On January 11, Tien Giang Provincial Police temporarily detained 6 subjects including Tran Anh Dung (born in 1989), Nguyen Khanh Duy (born in 2003), Tran Mai Truong An (born in 1990), Pham Tan Phat (born in 1997), Pham Van Cuong (born in 1983) and Le Thanh Khoa (born in 1990) to clarify the act of disturbing public order, and at the same time investigate the subjects related to the incident.
This group of people was identified as being involved in the fireworks display on Highway 1, causing disorder and affecting traffic safety in the section passing through Cai Lay town on the evening of January 9.

According to the police, at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, Le Thanh K. held a birthday party at K.'s pho restaurant, located on National Highway 1, through Nhi My ward, Cai Lay town.
K. invited more than 100 people to the party, there was a large sound system for everyone to sing and dance.
At 10 p.m. the same day, Tran Anh Dung took 5 boxes of fireworks and set them off on the median strip of National Highway 1 to add to the fun of the party.
When the fireworks exploded, about 20 people ran out to dance, film and take pictures.

As soon as receiving the news, the police force quickly arrived and dispersed the gathered crowd.
During questioning, Tran Anh Dung stated that the fireworks were given to him by a friend in Cambodia.
The case is being clarified and handled by the authorities according to the law.
