On the afternoon of September 20, Nguyen Nghiem Ward Police (Quang Ngai City) said that a taxi driver came to the ward police headquarters, asking to find the owner of 660 million VND that was mistakenly transferred into his bank account to return it.
Previously, on September 18, Mr. Le Quang Thuan (born in 1983, residing in village 1, Duc Nhuan commune, Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai) drove a taxi to Quang Trung street (Nguyen Nghiem ward) when he suddenly received a text message from the bank informing him that 660 million VND had just been transferred to his account.
Suspecting that someone else had mistakenly transferred the money because he himself did not do business or transact such a large amount of money, Mr. Thuan immediately went to Nguyen Nghiem Ward Police to report the incident.

Upon receiving the report, Nguyen Nghiem Ward Police verified that the person who mistakenly transferred the money was Mr. Le Anh Tuan (born in 1990, residing in Nguyen Nghiem Ward, Quang Ngai City).
Through contact, Mr. Tuan confirmed that he had transferred the money, but upon checking, it was indeed transferred to someone else's account, not the account that was supposed to receive it.
At the Nguyen Nghiem Ward Police Station, the Ward Police representative witnessed Mr. Thuan return the entire amount of money to Mr. Tuan.
Mr. Tuan sent his deep thanks to Mr. Le Quang Thuan and the Nguyen Nghiem Ward Police force for supporting and helping him get his money back.
