Tin Tuc and Dan Toc Newspaper promotes strengths and identity in each information product

Implementing the general policy of streamlining the Party and State apparatus, the Ethnic and Mountainous Photo Newspaper and the News Newspaper of the Vietnam News Agency were merged into the News and Ethnic Newspaper.

On April 18, 2025, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism granted a license to operate the Tin Tuc and Dan Toc newspaper for print and electronic newspapers, of which only the Tin Tuc electronic newspaper remains at baotintuc.vn.

The purpose of the Tin Tuc and Dan Toc Newspaper is to: Propagandize and disseminate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; provide information on the political, economic, cultural, social, diplomatic, defense and security situation at home and abroad; fight and refute the distorted and incorrect arguments of hostile forces; consolidate, preserve and develop the language, writing and cultural identity of ethnic groups...

The News and Ethnic Newspaper includes three information products as before the merger of the two editorial offices: The Weekly News publication is published once a week on Thursdays. The Ethnic and Mountainous Photo Newspaper is published once a month/1 issue, in the last week of the month, in 12 bilingual ethnic languages: Vietnamese - Khmer, Vietnamese - Bahnar, Vietnamese - Jrai, Vietnamese - Ede, Vietnamese - Cham, Vietnamese - Mong, Vietnamese - K'ho, Vietnamese - M'nong, Vietnamese - Tay, Vietnamese - Xedang, Vietnamese - Cotu, Vietnamese - Chinese. And the electronic newspaper Tin Tuc with the same domain name as baotintuc.vn.

The Ethnic and Mountainous Photo Newspaper online will become the Ethnic and Mountainous Photo Newspaper specialized page of the Tin Tuc online newspaper with the domain name dantocmiennui.baotintuc.vn.

The News and Ethnic Newspaper will have four specialized pages: The Ethnic and Mountainous Photo Newspaper (Vietnamese), at: dantocmiennui.baotintuc.vn. The Khmer version of the News and Ethnic Newspaper online, at: km-dantocmiennui.baotintuc.vn. The Chinese version of the News and Ethnic Newspaper online, at: zh-dantocmiennui.baotintuc.vn and the News Media page with all types of multimedia at: video.baotintuc.vn.

The Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Region Photo Newspaper online has become the Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Region Photo Newspaper specialized page of the Tin Tuc e-newspaper with the domain name dantocmiennui.baotintuc.vn. Thus, the Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Region Photo Newspaper online has ended its historical mission as an e-newspaper but will continue to accompany readers in the field of information about ethnic minorities and mountainous regions.

The information products of Tin Tuc and Dan Toc Newspaper will continue to maintain the fundamental value of the News Agency's information, constantly innovating on the electronic newspaper baotintuc.vn, the paper newspaper Tuan Tin Tuc and Dan Toc and Mien Nui Pictorial Newspaper. Conveyed through many types of multimedia, on various platforms, with increasingly improved information quality, practicality, and timeliness; meeting the needs of readers for accurate, diverse, quick, and attractive information.

Tin Tuc and Dan Toc Newspaper will also focus on improving the quality of information through images; propagating to serve ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in Vietnamese and languages ​​of ethnic minorities recognized by the State; contributing to preserving and developing the language, writing and cultural identity of ethnic minorities.
